Vintage Cameras Worth Collecting Too

I have a small collection of vintage cameras & some modern cameras because the modern stuff has its place to. My main Camera is a Fuji X-T1

Fujifilm X-T1

My main camera. It is a great digital camera & has excellent low light performance, even next to some full frame cameras.

Nikon FE2

My dads old SLR. This camera is a bit of a legend, often over shadowed by its predecessor. That does not stop it from being a great camera with a really fast shutter speed for a film camera.

Yashica Electro 35

Another legend. I did transplant the brains from it to another electro 35 when the lens mechanics got fucked beyond repair. Still need to fix that other camera. The focus system needs realignment.

Polaroid Impulse AF

Nothing like an old Polaroid now you can get them & the film is actually good. The original Impossible stuff was shit. It has alto focus so it is quite a versatile little machine. Not meany had that feature.

Polaroid Square Shooter

An early Polaroid camera that uses the old flash bulbs. Also uses the pull out type film that is sadly not manufactured anymore. Hope to get some shots off with it at some point depending if I can get any film for it.

Fujifilm FinePix 1400Z

An early digital camera. Not to bad for an early attempt ether.

Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515

An German WWII era camera that takes some really nice shots. All its shutter mechanism needed was a good lubing up.

Zeiss Nettar 515/16

Another German WWII era camera with a 6x6 ration on medium format film. Have a page discussing the restoration of this camera.

Carbine Camera

An old vintage camera where the speed selector on the shutter does not work properly but that does not matter as you can't get film for it anymore. So it's a shelf queen.

Kodak Vest Pocket Autographic

A WWI camera that was famous for using a special type of film you could sign by opening a cover. It used graphite that was scratched away when written on with the included stylus. You can still get film for these, gonna shoot a roll off at some point.

Ensignette

Another WWI camera only the film for it is not manufactured anymore. So there is not much point restoring it to full operation.

Generic 1930s Camera

This camera works. Takes medium format film, but I can't find any real info on this particular camera.

Balda

An very early 35mm camera. Looks to be from the 1930s. It came in full working order, It just needed some adjustment on the range finder. Will run a roll though it at some point.

FED 1

An old Soviet copy of a early Lica camera. It is surprisingly good little machine & only needed basic lubrication work to get it operational when I got the camera. The main part that was a pain was getting the alignment of the rangefinder fixed. Had to modify the mechanism to get that working, still a little janky.

Kiev 88

A Soviet clone of the Hasselblad that went to the moon. It is a very nice machine despite being on the janky side & very prone to light leaks.

Lubitel Universal 166

Another cheap but good Soviet camera. This unit was made in 1994. It has quite a soft lens but the output to the film is quite pleasing to the eye.

Sankyo 8-CM

An old 8mm film camera. Don't know it it works. I did try to develop the film that came with it but failed as it was colour film & I did not have the right rig or chemicals for the preprocess. The film was only half used.
